Information we collect
- Information you give us: name, email, phone, shipping address, institution, order details, messages you send, and the research-use attestations you make at checkout.
- Information collected automatically: IP address, browser and device information, pages visited, referring site and campaign parameters (such as UTM tags) used to understand how visitors find us.
- Information stored in your browser: your cart, your entry confirmation and similar preferences are kept in your browser's local storage so the site works as expected. We do not use them to track you across other websites.
How we use it
- To review, fulfill and support your orders, including sending payment links, confirmations and tracking.
- To verify eligibility, prevent fraud and misuse, and keep records of research-use attestations.
- To send lab notes and promotions if you subscribe. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link.
- To improve our site and comply with legal obligations.
How we share it
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run the business, such as website hosting, customer relationship and email platforms, payment processors and shipping carriers, and only as needed to provide their services. We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect our rights and the safety of others.
Retention
We keep order and attestation records for as long as needed for business, tax and legal purposes, and marketing data until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information. Card details are entered on our payment provider's secure page and never pass through our site.
Your choices
You can ask to access, correct or delete your personal information, or opt out of marketing, by emailing support@peppedco.com. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under state privacy laws. We will respond within the time required by law.
Age
Our site and products are intended only for adults 21 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 21.
Changes
We may update this policy. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new "last updated" date.
